I sympathise with you. I did the same last year when doing chest presses.  Usually I manage 40 kilos but I tried 50 and SNAP, the right pec took a hammering. Its taken me months to get back to that level of chest press weights again, but I'm still very wary of anything over 45 kilos.
! It took me months for it to get fixed.  Hope yours gets fixed soon

I'm with you there!   Put 10 pounds in during my recent cycle which I really didn't bargain for.  Only managed to lose 3 of them so far! Cardio is out due to damaged knee, so its gotta be reduced carbs.

Hi not so well as it goes at the mo, had an xray the other week but no results as yet,the trouble is they had to split my chest open when i had my accident to fix a torn artery so maybe thats causing the problems now? But i have dropped some body fat with dieting and still kept alot of muscle gained back since i left hospital so i still have a good base to start again when i get fully sorted i will still be a bodybuilder when fit i cant help it

Cheers PJ but to be honest once ya get bitten by the BB bug its hard to stop even if ya body tells ya to well its hard for me to stop any way.
I have been doing a small amount of training just to try and keep the spirit up,just shoulders, arms and very light chest with some light back training as training back causes some pain in the chest.
I am off to the gym next week sorry mr doctor man i cant keep away but i will be using the hand bike they have there not so much lifting but cardio for the time being.

And slighly off topic lol but i have been incontact with a wheelchair body builder in the states to see about comps over here in the UK so thats something i would like to see about when i am fit he says i need to contact the governing bodies over here but in the stats the ifbb run shows for wheely BB's.

i have to agree mate. people dont understand why i have to go to the gym on certain days and at certain times and cant be swayed to miss a training session or go out for a beer instead. once the bug gets you, you are hooked!!! all the best in your recovery mate
