I used to get a lot of pain behind my shoulder blades and also always pull muscles between shoulder blades, rhiomboid area. It was down to muscle imbalance and always bein gto tight in that area. I went to a physio and he treated it with massage but shown me how to do it myself, you get a tennis ball lean against a wall so your weight is pushing againts the tennis ball with the ball between your shoulders. You just wiggle your back around on it putting more and more pressure on, it hurts but releases all the pressure.

The exercises he got me to improve on were: More dumbell pullovers, although a lat exercise it works your shoulders through a full range of motion. He also got me doing loads of one arm reverse flys with the opposing knee resting on a bench but altering the plane so aswell as raising your arm out to the side you raise it 45% between out to the side and straight up (like a front front raise). This not only strengthens your rear delts but the bottom of you rhomboid area which is apparantly the mostundertrained area in body builders as its hard to reach.

This may not be the same problem as yours but it certainly cured my problems.

As said above, i had the same.. Shoulder pain on the back and i went to a physio.

After a week of having massages.. think it was 2-3 appointments it was all cleared up.

The muscle got into nots and had loged into a awkard postion.

Try having a hot bath then having a heat massage but any pain after 3 days is worth seeing a doctor to refer you to a physio.. remember its free so why not! (NHS)

Also to do while you wait to see if pain goes.. when sitting down..Put your arms behind your back. Hold your hands togther and pull ur arms down lifting your chest up to stretch your body.

Are you working with a spotter? Pain behind the shoulder blades shouldn't happen. This makes me suspicious that you may have twisted re-racking??

In primary freedom, one utilizes all ways and is bound by none, and likewise uses any techniques or means which serves one's end. Efficiency is anything that scores.
