Happened to me a while back. Same area. Went to a sports therapist that was into trigger point therapy and she sorted it out two sessions cost me £35

When it first happened to me i thought i was having a stroke the pain was unreal. Went to the docs he said trapped nerve gave me muscle relaxants and sent me home.  Never took the muscle relaxants went and seen my sports therapist and she found the problem in a couple of minutes and worked on my right trap. She also found a trigger in my lower back and said if that hadn't sorted it come back and she would work on my lower back. Went back a week later problem sorted.

I have always found Osteopaths and physios really good but I think doctors dont know mess. They just tell you to rest and give you some voltirol and resting just seems to make it worse.
