I thought I was quite slim, just needed toning around middle and tops of thighs, but just had my body fat percentage worked out for me and I'm a fat bloater . My body fat percentage is 24.86%. The healthy range is 15% max. I can't train any more than I do, I'm doing 6 days, 3 cardio, 3 weights. So how can I get nearer to 15% I'm obviously doing something wrong.

the only good way to measure bf% and acurately is to use the proper calipers tbh not a machine or charts as they will give false reading all the time tbh and usaully put most people way over what they actually are!
best way to burn the fat with cardio is to do it before breakfast (fasted cardio) but low intensity like a power walk or slow jog for 30-45 mins!
obviously diet comes into it alot too so maybe post up what your daily diet up and then the guys can give some more advice and it will be spot on advice too

Thanks, forgot to mention, although I go to the gym in the early evening to do weights or aerobics sessions. I have 4 dogs and walk them 5 miles every morning swiftly and thats before any breakfast. So in total thats 7 x 5 mile walks per week, then 6 gym sessions per week on top of that.

Totally agree with the guys, using calipers is the way to check more precisely. I used a BMI programme, being 5' 6" and 200 pounds it stated I was clinically obese . Looks like I had better stop training

Use the calipers and use the parillo 9 site technique to calculate BF.

In primary freedom, one utilizes all ways and is bound by none, and likewise uses any techniques or means which serves one's end. Efficiency is anything that scores.

The BMI way of doing it is a joke, our HR dept at work got us all to see these health workers for some testing, I got told I was clinically obese and out of 100 people I was going to be the 41st person to die!!!  Ta very much!

BMI is a load of bollox for anyone with a bit of muscle. We have a medical test at my work when we recruit new staff and the amount of fit Rugby players or builders labourers who fail bmi that are perfectly fit is a joke.

lol well i was talking to a number of people at the gym about it , and some of them have had it done BUT and i do mean BUT its no where near right there is a young lady who had it done she is about 5ft 4 and does alot of running i mean there is nothing on her just skin and bone . and she came in at 13.34 bodyfat , and her training partner was the same he came in at 16.21 bodyfat , so i think its F.U.B.A.R.
and so do alot of others at my gym , not to sure how it works tank but they said your hooked up to a pc which is running the bmi program
and they did tell all the works but i got a bit board listening to them talking about it so i did my usual trick and went into HOMER SIMPSON mode HHHMMMMMM CHOCOLATE MMMMMMMM  and  MMMMMHHHHH BILLY BEER AAAAARRRRRRR

I got MRS CAL a Wii Fit for her birthday. She got it out the box, set it up, stood on it, it told
her she was a lardy a** moose, she put it back in the box. It remains there to this day.
I've got a set of calipers that could have told her the same thing and saved me a
pile of dosh!
