Hi all,

As some of you are aware I have just returned to the sport after years away vegitating and getting rather fat. I seriously need some help to clean up my diet and start to loose the fat I have gained over the years. The Missus said I need to do it on a budget as well just to make it more complicated lol. My question is can someone point me in the right direction on the best diet for loosing fat (what to eat and when)? My diet at the moment is just a mess very hit and miss. Oats in the morning mixed with protein powder, Chicken breast Salad for lunch, Salmon and brown rice for tea, inbetween are a couple of protien shakes, but no real routine and structure to it .Also any hints on motivation etc. I have done a search but did not get any results.

thanks guys

(Fat Boy) Duncan.

Hey m8,

Well your aim is to eat every 3 hours. If your trying to lose weight, you got to eat 500 clairoes less than your BMR. You can work out your BMR on the internet. Also, try to run on empty stomach as soon as you wake up, just have water and coffea. Look at sticky for diet. motivation? No one can really help you with that.
Best of luck.

Well you have to eat less so that should help with your budget lol!
Seriously though, it sounds like you're eating the right stuff, now just count your calories and find how many you need to eat.
