ive got a problem gents. For the last 3 weeks on back/bicep day my right bicep(weaker bicep) gets really fatigued after the 1st set, the latic acid builds up so quicker i cant workout properly. The veins in the right bicep are up constantly but i get no pain or problem at any other time or any other workout. I warm up, stretch, rest proper. I was wondering if any1 ever had anything similar or knows wat it is coz its starting 2 piss me rite off! Cheers boys

its not a slight strain is it mate that only gets aggravated by exercise, as you say its only been the last 3 workouts so thats why i was thinking you may have strained it etc, i get it too but only very slightly on my weaker arm on things like barbell rows and my left always fails before my right!
where possible stick to barbell for back, bicep etc as it will help bring you weaker sides strength up , as when the weaker side fails thats it set over, failing that are you getting enough water and vits/minerals in as this can play a factor?
to me it does sound like a strain or slight muscle tear but cant be sure as im not a doctor, i did have a very simalar thing with my delts though for about 5 weeks, my left used to burn and pump up 2-3 reps into my lat raises even though before it was fine so i laid off for a week and it seemed to sort itself!
thats all i can think off really mate

It is a strange 1, i thought a strain but i cant understand y it dosnt hurt during any other training split. Thanx 4 the reply though bud

not sure then mate tbh is it just a pump an burn or is it painfull? if its just a pump and burn then i suggest maybe some rest pause training to push through it and stretch etc to flush the lactic acid out every pause you do as i have to do rest pause when doing certian body parts e.g calfs, tris, traps  just because they pump up too much especially traps to the point i cant even shrug my traps up without weight!

rest pause is ussaully pick up a heavier weight then you would normally do say 10 reps with, so choose one you can do 5 reps with then do your 5 reps pause for 30 seconds and then do 1-2 more reps then pause again then do another rep then pause etc up untill you hit 10 reps, you can use rest pause training for any body part that you wish to go heavier with but still push to ten reps!
not saying go heavier as they may cause more trouble but just saying pause when it gets to much then do a couple more reps then pause again etc till you finish your set, maybe not the best way to do it if your not upping the weight but it still means you get a decent workout with the right amounts of sets/reps you require, just takes a litlle more time up!
like i say im not a doc but just trying to offer a way through it as if your not injured it might just be something you need to find a way of working through for now

give your whole body a good thrashing weights wise this week then mate, then your two weeks off should give you a decent time to grow and recover!
Turkey sounds good mate hope you have a good holiday
