Hey guys,
well i do a full body routine, and have been increasing the weight in all other areas expect my bicepts, the want does not want to increase! . I have done a variety of different bicepts excerises e.g. stand up curl, sit down curl, 21's lying down, but i cant get my curls to increase in weight, thus size. Any ideas please?
Thank you in advance.

how many reps and sets are you doin

i try to keep to 6 reps for four sets for 3 different exersises, if i can get to 8 reps then i increase the weight , even if i can only do 4 reps, maybe cheat a little. but i find chaging the style of workout really helps .  one week i focus on negative reps the next week i try to do power reps the next week ill do 21s (7 half reps, 7 other half reps then 7 full reps) another week ill do 15 or 20 reps with a light weight.  try not to stick to the same exersises mix it up , theres plenty to coose from.

my weights just keep going up and up doing this

hope this helps a bit

try some supersets (seated curls setted with concentration curls.) or dropesets (15kg curls, then 10 then 7.5. with 10 reps on each.)

or just go for pure strength for say a month (5 sets of 6 reps with barbel curls?) just a suggestion

i only do my biceps after a good back workout and even then i only do 3 exercises for them: 21's, hammer curls and preacher curls.

Dont you just hate the people at the gym who do an exercise that takes them about a minute then rest for about 10!?

try that for a month or so and see how you go

mmmm could over train them by doing that as they are used in pretty much ever upper body exercise already :/

I do full body routine, so could do my bicepts 3 times a week. The routine just says to do seated curl one day and barbell the other day. I try to mix it up each week, see what happens.
Thanks for all the replies.

The biceps will come, just makes sure your lifting hard and heavy...  when you do train biceps always make sure you're focusing on the muscle.. squeeze hard.. they'll come.

My arms are my weak link too but they WILL grow.

If you do heavy back work..your biceps MUST grow. Do pull ups and weighted if you can.pull ups palms towards your body. I have done this and did no direct bicep training. Wheni did later Barbell curls my old weight was a piece of piss.
