At Asda, A tin of Princes Stewed steak only £1.49 yeah theres 20g of fat in it but you also get a massive 69g protein which i think is pretty good for a quid fifty. |

soya beans which u eat like nuts, bran flakes, activia feel fuller yogurts which has got carbs, fibre and protein in it. |

You can't get much cheaper protein source than dried beans. You should be able to get a pound of dried, store brand beans for less than a dollar. Also you can add a couple of carrots, 1 onion, some celery, and either stock or water and you should have enough to eat for lunch or dinner for at least 4 or 5 days. |

I read this post and went to Tesco's and found Humdinger Baked Crispy Soy Beans, 150g are about £1.20. Protein 10.4g per 25g. To tell you the truth i was abit doubtfull of the taste and how easy they would be to eat, but they are nice and tend to be addictive. Cheers for the Information lads. |
