Hey guys

my training routine says monday flat bench press and wednesday dumbell bench press. I perfer dumbell and know its equal force on each arm/chest. Does it really matter? should I change as the routine says?

thanks

Its a full body workout, from mick hart_the chris report (posed link long time ago). My question is not on the routine, but do i need to change equipements? use dumbell and bench press or does it not matter?

My point is doing chest mon then wed is not a good idea, the theory why people do 1 chest or one arms exercise per week is to allow the muscle to recover, thus recovery is the acutal time when the muscle grows..

So doing the movments twice in a week can slow down your progress.

But this is my view, i can see the idea to do full body for 2 weeks after a few months of working the body like i stated to push the body into rethinking..
If you are making good gains doing it that way though... keep at it, each person has there own ideas!

But to keep to the topic, IF i was to do what you were doing with 2 chest presses mon/wed i would indeed use one for ie dumbells then either the chest press machine or a barbell for a slightly differernt movement in the muscle
