Stretching, warm bath to relax the muscle.. could get a sports massage.. give it some time to heal but keep it active.. sharp pain is it?

i had the same problem donny, mainly on bench presses and it was affecting the rest of my training. i obviously dont know if its exactly the same problem but i started doing the three different versions of lateral raises, front back and side , using the cable machine just to focus on the area. i just played around with light weights with high reps and after about a month it solved the problem and then steadily increased the weight while lowering the reps.
probably worth a go

oh yeah, i forgot to say that you will probably have to do that with other exercises like bench press and shoulder press or any other exercises that require alot of shoulder strength, and rest it as much as you can to give it time to recover

Rest it's the only thing that'll work for that. I have shoulder problems down to bad form, and I had to just rest and wait. now no probs shoulders fine.

yes maybe i did my presses a bit out of rut. I think i did it doing chins behind my neck. I´m doing my Pull ups palms faceing. It does not hurt so i´ll just stick to them. THANKS LADS...

If i do any exercise behind my head lat pulldowns, chins or shoulders presses I get impingment (dont thinks that the right spelling) of the shoulders. I avoid them now and do not get the problems.

Yeah i have a bust left shoulder too cant to dips or chin ups on chest and shoulders i use dumbells mostly allthough i can still bench press (after dumbells) i would think the martial arts would agrivate it more than the weights just due to the angles and jolts. My brother has had a couple of jabs off the doctor for his over the years and it is fine for a while.might be worth a try?
