Just got one through in the post. WTF!!! It's got the heaviest chain in the world rivetted onto it! I can't bear to add a weight to it!

In terms of training with it though, what does everyone do? Treat as any other exercise in your routine? I've found so far it's great at keeping the cold off your back when you walk the dog.

Hi all,

Anyone got any tips on pushing myself weight wise? I've hit a plateau and can't seem to overcome it. I've tried changing my routine, tried creatine (gave me the shits!) and reckon it's partly psychological now. I'm still super sore after each session but just can't seem to step up a weight!

Any ideas?!!?

Hi,

Just a quick message to see what people think of my routine and if see if they had any pointers.

Due to my jobs I haven't been able to train as regularly as I once did and as a result, haven't lifted any weights regularly for about a
year. Because of this, a few of us have moved all our weights from home into a a locker room at work with a view to having regular workouts. We have a bench, barbell, dumbells, curling bar and plenty of weights.

Due to me only having a 45 mins lunch and not having lifted for some time I have gone for basic compound exercises, using an upper body (Mon / Thurs) and lower body (Tuesday and possibly Friday depending on recovery) split.

UPPER

Flat Bench Press - 4 X 8
Bent Over Rows - 4 X 8
Standing Barbell Shoulder Press - 4 X 8
Barbell Bicep Curls - 4 X 8
Dips - 4 X 8
2 X ab exercises

LOWER

Barbell Squats - 4 X 8
Deadlifts - 4 X 8
Lunges - 4 X 8
2 X Ab

Any suggestions as to improving the above will be greatly appreciated!
