The NAC Open British Championships is being held at the new Middleton Arena, Middleton. On the 31st October 2009.

Show Starts at 4.30pm  Registration approx 3/3.30pm.

Entries are being taken now, or on the day, so if your thinking of entering the Nabba UK on the same day and either don't place as you wanted to or even if you do, then feel free to pop over to Middleton after your class to give yourself a chance of an invite to the NAC Mr /Miss Universe, in Germany.

This year the show was over 2 days rarther than just the 1 sunday as in previous years. I must say that this schedule seemed to work much better rather than just cramming everything in and rushing the judging. It was clear that the judges were giving more call outs and more comparisions - which is great! It must have been much harder for the people competing mind having to try and hold peak condition for 2 days.

Anyhow I would like to congratulate Zack Khan who battled it out onstage with some of the biggest and best guys around to take the Superheavyweight title and the overall earning him his IFBB Pro card! Well done Zack - its been a long time in the making so enjoy the sweet taste of victory!

Once again next years Mr Wigan will be the Sunday after the Nabba Mr Universe.

A slight difference for next year will be that competitors will be able to register before the day.

This show is not just for people in and around Wigan, anyone can enter.

Next years show will be a special birthday for the show, so it is guaranteed to be the best ever.

If enough sponsors are forthcoming, there will be, once again, a spectacular Pro Am.

So come on guys and girls, once the 2010 Universe date is set, set yourselves another date, the 2010 Mr Wigan.

Apologies for the short notice especially to all competitors looking to enter this year, due to circumstances beyond my control I have taken the difficult decision to postpone this years Mr Wigan, be guaranteed, next year will be back bigger and better, obviously as soon as the Universe date is agreed the 2010 Mr Wigan will be booked.
